Each volunteer brings a unique contribution to the Basin PBS family. Like our staff and Board of Directors, they all share a belief that Basin PBS plays an essential role in the educational and cultural life of West Texas.

Goals

Friends donate their time to assist Basin PBS in executing successful outreach, promotion and fundraising activities. Friend Volunteers work with the Friends of Basin PBS, staff, and board in the following areas:

• Outreach events
• Station events
• Mail campaigns
• Pledge drives

Responsibilites

• Friend Volunteers will advocate and cultivate for Basin PBS.
• Friend Volunteers will assist in the execution of Basin PBS outreach, promotion and fundraising activities.
• Friend Volunteers will assist in execution of at least two events per year.
• Friend Volunteers should attend as many Basin PBS events as their schedules permit and involve others in events.
• Friend Volunteers are asked to become Basin PBS Members ($40).
  

Meetings

• Friend Volunteers are asked to meet only as needed on an event by event basis.
• Friends will make themselves available for activities scheduled throughout the year.
